Waco Mammoth Foundation

The Waco Mammoth Foundation supports the Waco Mammoth National Monument — a national park located in Central Texas and built around an actual archeological dig of multiple fossilized Columbian mammoth skeletons. It’s an amazing sight!

Rule Your Kingdom, an SEO firm in Waco, TX, asked Monti Design to design and develop the Waco Mammoth Foundation website. When I saw the murals depicting mammoths and their young in the museum, I instantly thought of using a layered, parallax scrolling technique that mimics the method traditional cel animation uses to create the illusion of depth in a scene. It makes for a striking landing page, and I’m proud to have this in my portfolio.
