Waco Hippodrome Theatre

The Waco Hippodrome Theatre is a historic landmark in Waco, TX. Originally built in 1913, it has survived fires and tough economic times, played host to the likes of Duke Ellington and Cab Calloway, and even been visited by Elvis, who caught a movie there when he was stationed at Fort Hood. After the theatre was shut down in 2010, new ownership began a program of sweeping renovation to update the theatre while preserving its historic architecture.

With the a grand reopening came the need for a new website. In partnership with Rule Your Kingdom, an SEO firm in central Texas, Monti Design was commissioned to redesign their site. Part of the goal of the landing page design was to help customers get an almost tactile feel for what it’s like to watch a movie in this beautiful theatre.

NOTE: The site has been significantly altered by another firm since the relaunch with our design.
